RE:CREATION — The International Resort Architecture Competition

The International Open Competition of Ideas for the Resort of Tomorrow in the Primorye Region started in April in Russia. Participants are invited to make their intellectual contributions and become co-authors of the first-ever sea resort on the Pacific coast of Russia. To take part in the Competition you need to fill out the Application Form on the website until May 13. You can apply individually or as a part of a team. Upon registration, all participants will receive the Competition Brief and develop their Competition Proposals. 

Participants are expected to propose architectural solutions for at least three resort facilities, choosing from various hotels, water park or ethnic theme parks, a fish market, or produce their version of a unique recreation and entertainment component. In addition,  there is an opportunity to propose one’s general idea of a resort of the future encompassing social, economic, ecological, and other aspects.

Thus, every participant has a chance to unleash their imagination and develop a vision of the resort of tomorrow, taking into account the unique nature of Primorsky Krai, its potential in the Russian and international tourist industry, and the development of the latest technologies in architecture and construction.    

You can make an entry on the website from April 09 through May 13, 2024.  The deadline for developing and submitting the work is May 25, 2024. Results of the Competition will be announced after the final jury meeting in July 2024.   The winners of the Competition will receive financial rewards depending on the nomination, and an opportunity to participate in further implementation of the project.
