BE OPEN Awards

BE OPEN Awards is open to interdisciplinary designers aged 18-30 from around the world. Projects can be submitted via website www.beopenfuture.com or e-mail [email protected].

Projects can be presented in one of the following categories:

FORM. Works of product (industrial) design are accepted for the category. Submitted projects should show potential for production. Cross-disciplinary projects combining product design with graphic / interactive / environmental design are welcome.

CITY. Architectural projects and solutions of urban environment improvement methods, town-planning, energy-saving and environment-saving technologies are accepted for the category.
In short, everything that relates to urban planning and profound complex development of urbanscape.

CAST. Sound design, motion design and animation, interactive and interface design, hybrid environments etc. are accepted for this category. Works showing innovative application of media environments in their interaction with user and experimental multimedia art are welcome.

The first prize for each category is a scholarship for a course in one of leading design/media universities. The authors of top-rated works will be invited to London Design Week 2012 to take part in the award ceremony.
