2013 Design Is… Awards

At Shaw Contract Group, we believe design is changing the world. We see the architecture and design community as active developers and creative solvers, constantly re-defining the way we work, play and organize our lives. The Design Is... Award recognizes the vision and tenacity behind such momentous work and commemorates the design story behind every project. Why? Because if we're going to improve life for the better, we have to celebrate the people who are re-thinking the very idea of what design is...

Eligibility

The Shaw Contract Group Design Is... Award program is open to all professional interior design firms, architecture firms, and end users. Projects must feature a Shaw Contract Group or Shaw Hospitality Group product as the predominant flooring in the space, and must have been completed between February 2011 and February 2013. All entries must submit high resolution digital photography of the project.

Call for Stories

We understand that carpet was only one part of your complex project. We are looking for stories that describe how our products fit into the bigger picture. Judges will consider the overall design of the space, but the context is up to you. Categories of distinction will be identified by the judges based on how design is defined through the unique challenges, processes and results of the work.
