YAC’s second competition aims to offer participants a chance of practising solid, refined research. Jurors like Shigeru Ban Studio and 5+1AA will enhance the debate around

"Post-Quake Visions" invites architecture enthusiasts, professionals and students to rethink and redesign the quake-inflicted gaps left inside ancient urban tissues.
This endeavour points to revamp such scarred ecosystem under cultural and economical keys, with the goal of finding out urban perspectives and social possibilities once undisclosed or inconceivable.

Such research will focus on the vacant spaces left behind by the quake; the goal is to insert brand new architecture able to blend ancient heritage with contemporary pace.
Site covers Crevalcore's inner city’s areas which were compromised by 2012 earthquake.

5500€ cash prizes, publication on architectural magazines and websites + exhibition in Crevalcore & Universities.
