From the Ground Up: Innovative Green Homes

Description:
A competition to reinvent the affordable single family house and reinvigorate urban residential neighborhoods.
Format:
Stage I is a Portfolio Competition with Brief Sketch Exercise.  (Open competition but entrants are required to assemble teams with the requisite expertise.)  Seven Teams will participate in Stage II.  Each will be given $25,000 to develop a 1,000 to 1,500 square foot single-family house with green design features.  Sponsors are looking for a winning entry or entries capable of being constructed.
