Drawing Codes: Experimental Protocols of Architectural Representation, Volume II

Tuesday, Mar 31, 202012 PM — Thursday, Apr 30, 20205 PMPDT

161 Hubbell Street San Francisco, CA, US San Francisco, CA, US | 161 Hubbell Street

Presented by the Digital Craft Lab at California College of the Arts

Emerging technologies of design and production have opened up new ways to engage with traditional practices of architectural drawing. This exhibition, the second volume in a series organized by the CCA Digital Craft Lab, features experimental drawings by architects who explore the impact of new technologies on the relationship between code and drawing: how rules and constraints inform the ways we document, analyze, represent, and design the built environment.
