RUDC 2023 Symposium, Cities in Transition: Designing for a World in Flux

Please join us for the 2023 RUDC Symposium, tilted "Cities in Transition: Designing for a World in Flux." This event will examine the volatile changes currently affecting urban environments. The dynamic two-day symposium will be held on October 19th and 20th in Washington, DC, and will feature presentations, panel discussions, and on-site project tours.

We extend a warm invitation to urban designers and thinkers from all disciplines and geographies to join us for this stimulating discussion. Prominent urbanists and designers from around the country will convene in the nation's capital to explore and discuss our "Cities in Transition: Designing for a World in Flux."

This event is organized by the American Institute of Architects (AIA) Regional and Urban Design Knowledge Community, in partnership with the American Planning Association (APA) Design and Preservation Division, AIA Urban Design Committee | DC (AIA UD|DC), the American Society of Landscape Architects (ASLA) Potomac Chapter, and the Washington-Alexandria Architecture Center (WAAC) at Virginia Tech.
