Giuliano Fiorenzoli: Because of seeing architecture

Sunday, Oct 15, 202310 AMEDT

‘T’ Space Rhinebeck, NY, US Rhinebeck, NY, US | ‘T’ Space

OPENS OCTOBER 15, 2023 AT THE ARCHIVE GALLERY

‘T’ Space will feature an exhibition of the architecture of Giuliano Fiorenzoli. The Florentine-born architect worked with many great experimental studios in Italy before becoming a tenured professor at Pratt Institute, and practicing architecture in NYC. Fiorenzoli’s early work was an important component of the Radical Architecture movement that arose in Italy in the late 1960s and 70s. Giuliano was the co-founder of ZZIGGURAT, an architecture atelier which produced experimental proposals in opposition to rationalism and functionalism associated with 20th-Century modernism. This collection of drawings and models highlights many of his most inspiring works over the years.

Fiorenzoli’s exhibition will be located at 60 Round Lake Road, in a new extension of the Archive building.
