On November 2, Friedman Benda will present Ettore Sottsass 1947-1974, marking the first New York solo showcase of Sottsass’ work since the 2017 Met Breuer exhibition, Ettore Sottsass: Design Radical.

The exhibition, part of the gallery’s ongoing series dedicated to the expansive oeuvre of the groundbreaking Italian architect and designer, offers a rare and in-depth look into an extremely diverse and fertile period in Sottsass’ career.
