Architecture, Film, and the In-Between Book Talk

In this new work of scholarship, Architecture, Film, and the In-between: Spatio-Cinematic Betwix, three Pratt architecture professors contribute essays exploring the intersection of the radical ends of the architecture and film disciplines. Jason Vigneri-Beane explores ecology, machines, technology, and atmosphere through near-future scenarios; MJ Sieira examines social-cultural space in the work of French New Wave filmmaker Agnès Varda; and Eva Perez de Vega explores the moving image to reflect on its relationship to the body and what she terms huMan exceptionalism.
