HEAR LA Workshop

Learn how to create your own quadraphonic audio recordings! Artist George Jensen will lead a sound recording workshop on site at TURF: Mini-Golf and demonstrate how to capture sounds around Los Angeles, similar to TURF’s collaborative multi-channel sound installation, “Hear LA: An Audio Document of Los Angeles”.

The workshop will instruct participants on field recording techniques and devices including a review of recording hardware, audio recording and troubleshooting, audio editing programs, speaker and installation management, and best practices.
