“Manual of Section”: Lewis.Tsurumaki.Lewis | Lecture and Book signing

Saturday, Apr 8, 20177 PM - 9 PMPDT

A+D Museum Los Angeles, CA, US Los Angeles, CA, US | A+D Museum

Join the A+D Museum for an evening lecture and book signing event with Paul Lewis, co-author of Manual of Section.

Along with plan and elevation, section is one of the essential representational techniques of architectural design; among architects and educators, debates about a project’s section are common and often intense. Until now, however, there has been no framework to describe or evaluate it. Manual of Section fills this void.

Introduced and moderated by Stephen Phillips, AIA, PhD, Principal of Stephen Phillips Architects (SPARCHS) and professor, director, Cal Poly LA Metro Program in Architecture and Urban Design (California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo)

Manual of Section will be available for purchase and signing at this event.

SPACE IS LIMITED. PURCHASE YOUR TICKETS TODAY.
General Admission: $10 | Students and A+D Members: $7 | Cal Poly students FREE with valid ID
