Innovative Waterfronts Transforming Communities Waterfronts are a key component of many urban cities in the Pacific Northwest. Join the City of Bremerton as they host fellow communities and explore case studies, approaches and solutions from real projects and the pioneers leading the revitalization of these important assets. PROGRAM FOCUS: The program addresses core concepts from projects at all stages, from strategy to implementation and beyond. Sessions will feature stories from individual communities transforming their waterfronts. The program will also cover key areas like financing, transportation, water, sustainability and more. Opening Session: Waterfronts for the 21st Century These three communities have each undertaken a substantial revitalization of their waterfronts. What visions for their communities are driving their efforts, and where will waterfronts factor in the vitality of our cities and towns going forward? Featuring: Mayor Don Amos of Sidney, British Columbia Former Mayor Mike Kelly of Sausalito, California Mayor Cary Bozeman of Bremerton, Washington WHO SHOULD ATTEND: Join peers from all sides of the table as they explore best practices, success stories and lessons learned:
