Design Like You Give a Damn: LIVE! November 7-9th 2013 Description: On November 7-9th, 2013, your favorite humanitarian design and resiliency conference presented by Architecture for Humanity is back for another round of innovative panel discussions, workshops, Design Open Mic**, and inspiring dose of industry networking. All Prize winners will be present. All Day Forum + Closing Reception // Friday, November 8th, 9am - 8pm // Location: Autodesk Gallery – 1 Market Street #200 San Francisco, CA Panel Sessions + Workshops Experts dig into the topics around resiliency and intimate workshops allow participants to gain hands-on knowledge and practical use.

  • Population Shocks: How Shrinking Populations Will Redefine Cities 11-noon
  • Curry Stone Design Prize Winners' Presentations in-depth working lunch session
  • Active Spaces: Designed to Move 2:30-3:30pm
  • Resilient Cities: Local Planning Goes Global 4-5pm
Design Open Mic A Pecha Kucha-style marathon of innovative concepts, programs and design solutions from emerging and established designers and architects. Presentations run throughout the day parallel to the panels and workshops. Judges will decide upon the top presentations, which will be awarded at the Closing Ceremony. 9-noon, 2-5pm Keynote + Closing Ceremony Keynote speaker will conclude the daylong forum with an insightful address, encapsulating Designing for a more resilient world before celebrating the Closing Ceremony and cocktail reception. 5:30-8pm Chapter Forum // Saturday, November 9th, 10am - 5pm // Location: Architecture for Humanity Headquarters 695 Minna Street San Francisco, CA 94103 Implementing Resiliency Panel* Roundtable discussion on resilient community Chapter projects across the globe* 10-11:30am *Open to the public Partners and Sponsors Curry Stone Design Prize Alcoa Foundation Autodesk Absolut Vodka Dwell
