The fully accredited professional Master of Architecture program at Syracuse University engages design and technology to address the worldwide challenges that architecture faces as a profession and an intellectual discipline. Focused on the acquisition of professional skills, knowledge, and expertise, the program also promotes an advanced research agenda carried through from first-year courses in design, theory, history, media, and technology to the final semester’s capstone project. Students have the opportunity to spend a semester at Syracuse University’s Global Campus Centers in Florence, London, and New York City. The Global Campus semester builds on the Master of Architecture program’s academic core and is designed to foster holistic thinking, crucial in contemporary practice. “Syracuse Architecture is among the most respected professional degree granting programs in the world. Our M.Arch program is structured to provide students with a rigorous, professional architecture education as well as the opportunity to develop a design research focus and thesis project.
