PLAN OF THE CITY from Joshua Frankel on Vimeo.
Time: 8 p.m. This special evening of music and video highlights the talents of three exceptional artists: composer Judd Greenstein, founder of New Amsterdam Records and the Ecstatic Music Festival; filmmaker and video artist Joshua Frankel; and indie classical group, the NOW Ensemble. The program features performances by NOW of music by Greenstein and other composers interspersed with video work by Frankel, including a screening of Frankel’s innovative and whimsical short film Plan of the City scored by Greenstein and performed live by NOW, called “one of the best matches of visuals to music I have seen” by Anne Midgette of The Washington Post. Curated by THE OFFICE performing arts + film, CultureStream events combine live performance with thought-provoking visuals screened on the Winter Garden’s Big TV to stimulate the senses and open the mind. All events are free! Click here to learn more.
