Best international architecture shortlisted for World Architecture Festival 2025

The shortlist for the World Architecture Festival 2025 has been revealed, showcasing “this year’s best international architecture and interiors.” The list The stylist was announced ahead of this year’s World Architecture Festival taking place in Miami from November 12–14, the first edition of the event to take place in the United States.

A panel of 164 international judges created the list of 460 projects selected from over 780 entries. The categories range from best Creative Re-Use, Housing, and Education, to best Hotel, Sports, and Culture, celebrating  “the most groundbreaking architectural and design achievements across the globe” according to organizers. 

“We are delighted to be staging WAF in the USA for the first time and also thrilled that so many USA architects have entered the awards,” WAF program director Paul Finch said as the shortlist was revealed. “We have also seen an increase in entries from Central and South America. The overall quality of the shortlist is as good as it has ever been, and we look forward to seeing over 460 presentations in Miami Beach this November.”
