Domus (Russia) and the organizational committee of International architectural contest ARCHIP-2009 have named Culver City, California-based firm ZELLNERPLUS the winner of the ARCHIP-2009 Interior/Innovations award.

ZELLNERPLUS Principal Peter Zellner has been named an ARCHIP laureate by Moscow-based publishing house “Salon-Pressâ€, joint-stock company “Eidos Communicationsâ€, Domus (Russia) magazine and the ARCHIP-2009 organizational committee.
An awards ceremony for the ARCHIP-2009 will take place in Moscow on November 26th.

Project Description:
TOY Factory Loft, Los Angeles, California
Additions to this 1,500 square foot loft residence in downtown Los Angeles provided the client, a young filmmaker, with work and living spaces. Two MDF, Thermoclear, laminated ply and aluminum enclosures were manually fabricated and erected on site from a set of over 250 unique templates.

ZELLNERPLUS is an architectural design firm based in Culver City, Southern California that has designed public and private art galleries, residencies, institutional facilities and corporate spaces in Los Angeles, San Francisco and New York. Institutional spaces include the Sweeney Gallery at UCRiverside, LAXART and the Lounge at REDCAT. Private commissions include spaces for SONY, Napster, Matthew Mark Gallery and Susanne Vielmetter Berlin/Los Angeles Projects.
