RIBA recently revealed the 68 shortlisted buildings for the RIBA London Awards 2015, which reflect RIBA's mission of honoring design excellence throughout the United Kingdom. In the following weeks, a regional jury will evaluate all shortlisted projects and select the winners.
Winning projects will be announced on May 18 at the National Theatre’s Temporary Theatre on the Southbank. But the London Awards, while an honor, are just the beginning. Regional winners will be considered for the RIBA National Award. Then once the National winners are revealed in June, those winners will move on to compete for the coveted RIBA Stirling Prize for best building of the year.
