Planning ahead for another busy week in Los Angeles? Bustler put together a snappy list of architecture and design events happening around town. Tonight, the USC School of Architecture will host their Generation nEXT exhibition and event. On Wednesday, Petra Blaisse of Inside Outside will deliver a lecture at SCI-Arc and the Hammer Museum will host a discussion about the evolving relationship between L.A.'s built environment and natural habitat. Read on for our latest weekly event recommendations.

USC Architecture Generation NEXT 2018 | March 19

The USC School of Architecture is proud to present the USC Architecture Generation NEXT 2018 event and exhibition as part of the annual USC Architecture Career Week. The event is an evening in celebration of the broad range of independent design work produced by recent alumni of the USC School of Architecture.

Petra Blaisse Lecture: Moving On! | March 21

Hear a lecture from Inside Outside's Petra Blaisse at SCI-Arc. "I would like to tell stories. Stories about us, at IO, collaborating as a diverse team, working in team formation with others throughout projects in many different climates and cultures,” Blaisse says.

Cohabitation: Cities, Nature, and the Evolving Ecosystem | March 21

The mountain lions P-22 and P-55 have become unlikely stars of Los Angeles nightlife—and symbols of the complicated relationship between nature and cities. This panel examines the intersection of the built environment and Los Angeles’ natural habitat as the region prepares for a hotter and more populous future that can challenge the dynamics between urban environments, wildlife and nature.
