Another successful edition of the Australian Interior Design Awards has come to a close. Out of some 200 shortlisted projects, the category winners were announced today during a gala celebration in Sydney. Celebrating its 15th anniversary, the Australian Interior Design Awards distinguish top-notch interior design projects and interior designers throughout the country.

“If there was any idea that the country’s architecture and design industry isn’t progressive, relevant or inventive, a quick glance at the 2018 shortlist will set that straight,” the jury said about this year's competition entries. “These projects are characterized by conceptual rigour and compelling design expression, with a human-centric focus and strong desire to contribute new ways of thinking to their respective sectors and beyond.”
