CTBUH announces 2019 Award of Excellence Winners

With their 2019 Awards Program already underway, the CTBUH revealed the winning projects of their 2019 Awards of Excellence, which highlight the best in tall buildings, innovations and technologies, and urban contributions recently emerging in cities worldwide.

Winners were announced in categories that included Best Tall Building in five different height thresholds, Urban Habitat, Interior Space, Construction, Renovation, Engineering achievements, and more. The Award of Excellence recipients will now compete in front of a live jury and international audience at the CTBUH 2019 Tall + Urban Innovation Conference in Shenzhen next April for a chance to win “Best in Category” distinctions. By the end of the conference, the 2019 Best Tall Building Worldwide will be announced.

“These recognitions, bestowed by the world’s premier authority on tall buildings, showcase these projects to a global audience and help drive a meaningful conversation about the quality of our urban environments,” said Karl Fender, Best Tall Building Jury Chair and Director at Fender Katsalidis Architects, in a statement.
