Fast Archi Challenges-These are small creative challenges that we will launch regularly. We are talking about projects, illustration, photography, sketches, design, video or others, but they all have the architecture in common. Here you will test all your skills and discover some that you didn't know you had! 

Radical Innovation Awards Opens Call for Entries
Register/Submit Deadline:  Thursday, Apr 23, 2020

Radical Innovation, an initiative that challenges creative thinkers at the professional and student level to pioneer compelling ideas in travel and hospitality, is accepting entries to its annual competition. New in 2020, the competition is adding a Hospitality Product category. Radical Innovation is asking participants to submit their most innovative hospitality product(s) capable of transforming the industry standard and offering new strategic career and investment growth opportunities.

International Tender for the Shenzhen Natural History Museum Schematic Design and Architectural Design Development
Register/Submit Deadline:  Wednesday, May 6, 2020 

Shenzhen Natural History Museum aims to be leading in China and first-class in the world, interpreting the laws of natural evolution, showing “geographies of Shenzhen and ecology in the global perspective”. It is to become a natural history museum “to actively advocate science”. Tender for the Shenzhen Natural History Museum Schematic Design and Architectural Design Development is now open for pre-qualification application. Design teams from home and abroad are welcomed to participate in this competition.

TOMB OF WASTE - Switch Competition
Registration Deadline:  Saturday, May 30, 2020
Submission Deadline:  Sunday, May 31, 2020

Tomb of waste aims to create a powerful and a poetic architectural installation that raises awareness about the impact of plastic waste on our planet. The installation should captivate public attention and elevate people’s perception by promoting single use plastic as a valuable, versatile and an accessible material that can be used to creatively transform our built environment. The competition should rethink the relationship between sustainability and architecture contrary to the common understanding of sustainability as a cosmetic concern. The competition aims at designing an icon that explores sustainability as a tool for critical thinking. The installation should have an immersive and symbolic impact on the context and should strive to become a strong reference point.

Land Art Generator Initiative 2020: Design the Future of Fly Ranch
Register/Submit Deadline:  Sunday, May 31, 2020

Land Art Generator Initiative and Burning Man Project have partnered to launch a multi-disciplinary design challenge—LAGI 2020 Fly Ranch—that will create the foundational infrastructure of  Fly Ranch systems of energy, water, food, shelter, and regeneration. You are invited to propose your regenerative artwork in this unique and stunning landscape.

RE-Stock London Housing Competition
Registration Deadline:  Friday, Jun 12, 2020
Submission Deadline:  Friday, Jul 17, 2020

London seems to be stuck in a continuous housing crisis with fewer housing units being built every year. The sale of local authority housing stock under the ‘Right to Buy’ scheme has diminished the available housing stock even further for people in need of a suitable accommodation. The RE-Stock London Housing architecture competition is the Bartlett School of Architecture initiative in partnership with Bee Breeders Architecture Competition Organizers and ARCHHIVE BOOKS where participants are asked to look at existing iconic council housing and RE-visit, RE-imagine, RE-invigorate and RE-think them.

Calivigny Garden Guest Houses International Architecture Ideas Competition

Submission Deadline:  Friday, Jul 10, 2020

This international one-stage architecture ideas competition invites all architects, landscape architects and designers, students and professionals with a degree in architecture, landscape architecture and design studies to develop and submit great ideas for the design of a residential complex (Guest Houses) located at the Calivigny Garden, St. George, Grenada. West Indies. It is essential that each design proposal emphasizes and celebrates the site and surrounded area close to the Calivigny Harbor at South of the site, being a harbor surrounded by mangroves.
