AIA Los Angeles honors city's best projects and architects in 2020 AIALA Design Awards

The Los Angeles chapter of the American Institute of Architects has revealed the winners of the 2020 AIALA Design Awards. Besides recognizing the best completed projects, the program also honored designed but as-yet unbuilt work with the Next LA Awards as well as outstanding projects realized during the first twenty years of this new millennium with the Best of the Millennium Awards. 

Los Angeles-based Jonston Marklee stood out as the firm with the highest number of trophy wins.

Michael B. Lehrer of Lehrer Architects received the highest honor the organization bestows on an individual, the AIALA Gold Medal. Read Archinect's 2020 interview with Michael B. Lehrer during our Lehrer Architects Studio Visit here.
