A+D Design Awards
Register/Submit Deadline: Saturday, Nov 28, 2020

"The A+D Museum Design Awards break away from the traditional award program structure to recognize the work on contemporary design space fringes. Through the jury and categories, the awards are designed to acknowledge the cross-disciplinary and multi-experiential reality of the architecture and design community. They are a moment of recognition for those designers and architects who do not fit the mold, who can be appreciated not only by experts in the field but also by those outside. These are awards for those who venture beyond the confines of traditional architecture and design."

EUROPE 40under40 AWARDS 2021
Register/Submit Deadline: Tuesday, Dec 1, 2020

"Now in its 14th year, The Chicago Athenaeum: Museum of Architecture and Design, together with The European Centre for Architecture Art Design and Urban Studies, are organizing 'Europe 40 Under 40' for 2020-2021. Each year, our Institutions invite young European professionals to participate in this innovative awards program that spotlights Europe's next generation of up-and-coming European design practitioners."

2021 International Architecture Awards
Register/Submit Deadline: Tuesday, Dec 1, 2020

"Since 2004, The Chicago Athenaeum: Museum of Architecture and Design, together with The European Center for Architecture Art Design and Urban Studies and Metropolitan Arts Press, Ltd. have organized The International Architecture Awards as a way in which to honor the best, significant new buildings, landscape architecture, and planning projects designed and/or built around the world’s leading architects, landscape architects, and urban planners practicing nationally and internationally."

Harvard GSD - Wheelwright Prize 2021
Register/Submit Deadline: Sunday, Jan 31, 2021

"The Harvard Graduate School of Design (GSD) is pleased to announce the 2021 cycle of the Wheelwright Prize, an open international competition that awards 100,000 USD to a talented early-career architect to support new forms of architectural research. The 2021 Wheelwright Prize is now accepting applications; the deadline for submissions is Sunday, January 31, 2021. This annual prize is dedicated to fostering expansive, intensive design research that shows potential to make a significant impact on architectural discourse."
