"The Restaurant Design Awards took a break in 2020 but is back to honor eateries, in two different ways, for offering up food and comfort during a challenging year that has demanded resilience and ingenuity. The first: this year we celebrate the ingenuity of restaurants, cafes, and bars–large or small–and their designers, as they met the moment with the design of new and fresh indoor and al fresco dining solutions."

International Competition for Urban Design and Architectural Concept Design of Shenzhen Antuo Hill Museums

"Shenzhen Antuo Hill Museums (SAHM) is positioned as a non-profit public cultural facility and an ecological community of museums. It's a multi-functional platform integrating cultural relics exhibiting, art exchange and display, art trading, and other supporting services. The design of Antuo Nature Art Hill (ANAH) is currently underway. Taking the opportunity of ecological restoration of Antuo Hill, the Park and the Museums shall be planned as a whole, jointly building a cultural cluster that integrates human, art, and nature, improving the quality of urban environment and vitality of urban life, and becoming a unique, pioneering and enlightening cultural place shared by all citizens."

The Restorative City: Building Community Wellness through Public Space
Register/Submit Deadline: Monday, May 24, 2021

"The Design Trust for Public Space unlocks the potential of New York City’s shared, civic spaces through the advancement of new research and collaborative projects. Every three years, the Design Trust launches a request for proposal (RFP), which solicits ideas to realize projects that address a key public space concern in New York City. Organized around a central theme, each RFP cycle is grounded by extensive community outreach and engagement, ensuring an alignment with community needs and interests. [...] This cycle, the Design Trust RFP—The Restorative City—is dedicated to exploring how public space and the built environment can be used as a tool to advance health equity, a concept which means that everyone has a fair and just opportunity to be as healthy as possible."

"The Jacques Rougerie - Institut de France Foundation Awards give architects, designers, engineers, and inventors a unique opportunity to propose innovative, daring, and disruptive projects. They reward biomimetic, multidisciplinary architectural projects in 3 categories: Architecture and Innovation for the Sea; Architecture and Innovation related to the Sea level rise; Architecture and Innovation for Space"
