Walter A. Hunt, Jr. Scholarship

"This scholarship honors the passing of Walter A. Hunt, Jr., its namesake and benefactor. [...] To promote and encourage the study of architecture by New York City public high school students through a two-year scholarship to supplement tuition and related costs during their freshman and sophomore years at a NAAB-accredited school of architecture in the U.S."
Douglas Haskell Award for Student Journals
Register/Submit Deadline: Tuesday, Jun 15, 2021
"The Douglas Haskell Award for Student Journals was founded to encourage student journalism on architecture, planning, and related subjects and to foster regard for intelligent criticism among future professionals. The award is not intended as a prize for individuals, but is instead meant to support the ongoing publication of student-edited journals whose subject matter could include architectural design, history, and theory."
AIANY Marketing Excellence Awards
Register/Submit Deadline: Wednesday, Jun 23, 2021
"The AIA New York Marketing Excellence Awards recognize exceptional efforts by New York City-based professionals in the fields of marketing, communications, and public relations for architecture, engineering, and construction firms."
Housing Design Awards
Register/Submit Deadline: Friday, Aug 13, 2021
"Projects with more than four units—including new construction or rehabilitation of private-sector or public-sector projects—are eligible. Housing projects anywhere in the world may be submitted if the architect/firm currently resides in New England or New York City. Any architect anywhere in the world may submit projects located in New England or New York City. [...] This program is co-organized by the Boston Society of Architects (BSA) and AIANY Housing Committee."
