The Seoul Metropolitan Government has announced this year’s winners of its annual Seoul Architecture Award.
A group of 12 were selected for their projects' proximity to the award mission of "promoting excellent buildings and spatial environments that realize the public, artistic and technological values of architecture and improve the quality of life of citizens" in Korea's capital city.
Of the winners, nine were selected for the excellence prize with a single green architecture entrant, two were chosen as top prize winners, and one was named as the grand prize recipient. The award will be presented in September as part of the Seoul Architecture Festival.
