The first round of globally recognized new architecture projects has been announced as part of the 2023 edition of the Prix Versailles.

Judges selected winners in the four World Selections categories: Airports, Campuses, Passenger Stations, and Sports. Another four, taken from an international pool of 96 different projects, will be named in the Shops & Stores, Shopping Malls, Hotels, and Restaurants categories in November, ahead of the mid-December announcement of the World Titles winners from UNESCO’s world Headquarters in Paris.

A total of 24 projects were chosen for their ability to showcase architecture as an important font of “intelligent sustainability” in the broader human environment.
