The Holcim Foundation for Sustainable Construction has announced the finalists for its International Holcim Awards 2023. According to the foundation, the 20 finalists represent “highly contextual and practicable approaches to sustainable construction: across diverse scales, budgets, geographies, and forms.”
“This year’s Holcim Awards finalists exemplify how it is possible - in this decisive decade to advance sustainable development - to pursue and deliver the application of innovative design and construction practices that provide a holistic response to meeting human development goals and regenerating natural systems,” said Holcim Foundation’s executive director Laura Viscovich about the finalists.
Below, we have listed the 20 winners for the award’s 2023 edition. The winners will be announced at an award ceremony in Venice, Italy on November 18th. Further information can be found on the Holcim Foundation’s official website here.
