The Architectural League unveils 25 recipients for 2023 Architecture + Design Independent Projects grants

The Architectural League of New York and the New York State Council of the Arts have announced the recipients of the 2023 Architecture + Design Independent Projects grants. The 25 proposals, representing a range of design disciplines and locations across New York State, were chosen from 132 applicants.

“Representing a breadth of geographic locales, disciplines, formats, and modes of practice, the selected projects are unified by their potential to advance design through creative innovation and connect with the public of New York State,” the grant organizers said about the 2023 recipients.

The 25 recipients, each of which will receive grants of $10,000, are listed below. More details about the grants series can be found on the Architectural League of New York’s website, and through our previous coverage of the series.
