Open Call: 2024 Design Residency on Governors Island
Registration/Submission Deadline: Friday, December 22, 2023

"The Institute for Public Architecture (IPA) is now accepting applications for the 2024 Spring and Summer Residency programs, taking place March 1–May 17 and June 1–August 17, 2024 respectively. Spend eleven weeks living and working in a collaborative environment within a landmarked building in the midst of New York harbor. ⁠Emerging and mid-career architects, urbanists, landscape architects, designers, and those committed to the public realm in all disciplines are invited to apply. Applicants will bring their own interests and projects to the program."

League Prize 2024 | Dirty
Registration/Submission Deadline: Thursday, February 15, 2024

"Young architects and designers are invited to submit work to the 2024 Architectural League Prize competition. Projects of all types, either theoretical or real, and executed in any medium, are welcome. The jury will select work for presentation in lectures, digital media, and an exhibition in June 2024. Winners will receive a cash prize of $2,000. Established in 1981 to recognize visionary work by young practitioners, the Architectural League Prize is an annual competition, lecture series, and exhibition organized by The Architectural League and its Young Architects + Designers Committee."

Arquine Competition No.26 | MEXTRÓPOLI 2024 Pavilion
Registration/Submission Deadline: Monday, April 1, 2024

"Since 1998, Arquine has held an architectural competition that allows ideas and proposals to be compared on equal terms. In this edition, the invitation is to design, build and activate a pavilion in the Historic Center of Mexico City within the framework of the MEXTRÓPOLI Architecture and City Festival. Contestants must project a piece that meets the conditions specified in the bases of this contest in terms of time, costs and characteristics, considering the ability to provoke and attract citizens, which will be a fundamental part of the evaluation of the proposal."
