RFQ: Downtown Entrance Plaza Redesign, Columbus, Indiana

"Columbus Design Institute, on behalf of the City of Columbus, is seeking Requests for Qualifications for the Downtown Entrance Plaza Redesign. The Downtown Entrance Plaza is approximately 1.5 acres and encompasses two plazas located on the north and south sides of State Road 46, just a short distance northeast of the Robert N. Stewart Bridge. As a main entry into Columbus, approximately 28,000 vehicles pass through this plaza each day."

Call for Proposals: Bethel Woods Art and Architecture Festival 2024, BuildFest
Registration/Submission Deadline: Friday, March 29, 2024

"BuildFest invites academics and researchers to propose ideas for large-scale art installations to be built on the historic grounds of the 1969 Woodstock festival. Over the course of a five-day live-work festival, accepted participants will work with self-organized student teams to build, install, and work through on-site design solutions. Once completed, the selection of installations will be utilized during the Catbird Music Festival—an Americana festival taking place on the historic 1969 Woodstock site—as functional art-infrastructures to be experienced and adapted for festival attendees."

AJ Architecture Awards 2024

"The awards will highlight the very best projects across 16+ categories from housing, health, and wellbeing to workplace and cultural projects. View the full list of categories here. The awards are open to all practices, regardless of size or scale. The winners will be revealed at a celebratory event that will take place on 3 December 2024 at Park Plaza Westminster Bridge London. All shortlisted projects will be visited by a judging panel and published on the Architects' Journal website."
