Who knows what architecture would be like now if the 3D architectural visualization industry didn't exist. However, nothing can replace the power of in-person interactions and networking. CGarchitect.com/CGSchool's Jeff Mottle and CGSchool business partner Brian Zajac teamed up to create the first annual CGarchitect 3D Architectural Visualization Conference. The event is already planned, but it's missing one major thing: money.
Instead of risking big financial losses, Mottle and Zajac looked to crowdfunding on Kickstarter to raise 100% of their $310,000 pledge goal -- and to garner enough interest from the community. If their goal isn't met by March 31, the conference won't happen.
More details below.
CGarchitect will bring together influential, talented and forward-thinking artists, studios, and evangelists to speak during the three-day event in Whistler, Canada, home of the 2010 Winter Olympics. Taking place from October 14-16, 2015, attendees will be treated to 18 intense and focused presentations and unrivaled one-on-one networking with the very best in the industry.
A few of the international list of speakers include: MIR co-founder Trond Greve (Norway); Luxigon founder Eric de Broche des Combes (France), IKEA Development & Operations IT Manager Martin Enthed (Sweden); WeDo founder Luis Gutierrez (Mexico); Designstor partner Nick Moshenko (Canada), and more.
