This year's Festival des Architectures Vives has presented the latest prize winners. Of the over 80 applications received, 11 teams representing 26 designers were chosen to erect architectural installations across Montpellier, southern France, during the event's six-day run in mid-June. For its 18th edition, the festival challenged architects to address the design theme "Rhythm."
"In this Olympic year 2024, the Festival des Architectures Vives is more than ever dedicated to exploring the links between architecture and movement, in a celebration of the harmony between body, performance, and structure," the organizers added.
