As its name states, the 24H competition challenges participants to show off their design skills in just one day in response to a prompt that highlights social issues, climate change, humanitarian causes, and modern sociologic issues. The fourth edition, titled Nowadays Nomadays, focused on Sub-Saharan Africa, a poverty-stricken region where lack of education for citizens of all ages continues to be a major issue.
Participants had to design a schoolhouse trailer with certain program requirements, including public teaching spaces and facilities as well as private living space for a traveling teacher.
At the end of the 24-hour hustle and bustle, three prize winners and seven honorable mentions were selected.
Want to take a chance in the next 24H competition? The fifth edition currently has an open call!
