It's giveaway time! Five of Bustler's lucky readers will have a chance to win a copy of “Architectural Competitions — as Institution and Process”. Edited by Jonas E. Andersson, Gerd Gloxham Zettersten, and Magnus Ronn and published by the KTH Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm and Kulturlandskapet, the 364-page anthology closely examines four key concepts: architectural competition, institution, process, and adjustments of contemporary competition structures, which altogether characterize the contemporary status of architectural competitions. The book further delves into these concepts to discuss five typical aspects that describe the ongoing adjustments taking place in present-day architectural and urban design competitions.

Divided into five parts, the book contains an introduction by the editors, and a selection of papers like “The Inaccessibility of Building Accessibility: Giving Visual and Material form to Innovation”; “The Architect, the Client, the Competition ... and the Struggle”; “About and beyond winning competitions: Strategic considerations for architectural practices”, and more. Authors include Carmela Cucuzzella, Silvia Forlati, Michel Geertse, Pedro Guilherme, Antigoni Katsakou, Kristian Kreiner, Beatrice Manzoni, Hedley Smyth, Justas Pipinis, Leentje Volker, Leif Östman, and the book editors.
