Planning for another week in Los Angeles? Get out and about around town! If you're curious about where design-inclined folks are gathering around Greater L.A., Bustler has compiled a snappy list of events that are worth checking out. Check back regularly to stay up to date.

It's barely Monday, but it's not too soon to start planning for next weekend! Coming up this week, L.A.'s One Night Stand for Art and Architecture is back for another one-night affair with “Last Call”, guest curated by Jennifer Bonner, Kyle Miller, and Volkan Alkanoglu. The intriguing “Björk Digital” VR exhibition will make its West Coast debut at the LA Phil, and the Museums of the Arroyo Seco across L.A. and Pasadena will have a free admission day. Have a look at Bustler's latest L.A. event recommendations.

Björk Digital | Opening on May 19

The immersive Björk Digital VR exhibition will be making its West Coast debut at the LA Phil this Friday! The exhibition comprises a series of groundbreaking VR video works based on Björk's groundbreaking albums including Vulnicura and Biophilia, as well as videos directed by Michel Gondry, Spike Jonze, Alexander McQueen, and more.

One Night Stand for Art & Architecture | Last Call | May 20

Guest curated by Jennifer Bonner, Kyle Miller, and Volkan Alkanoglu, One-Night Stand LA is back for 2017. The one-night affair “calls on architects to be critical of the installation as a medium for architectural experimentation and challenges participants to invent a new model of action for developing their work...At the end of the night, the participants of One-Night Stand LA 2017 must pledge to abandon the architectural installation as their primary medium for production. Last Call is a last call.”

Museums of the Arroyo Day | May 21

The Museums of the Arroyo Day is when six museums across L.A. and Pasadena — including the Gamble House, the Lummis Home, and The Autry's Southwest Museum — open their doors to the public free of charge for one day. The yearly event celebrates the “art, architecture and history of the Arroyo Seco area found in the six unique history-based museums that preserve and perpetuate early Los Angeles life.”
