LA Forum Liner Competition Shortlist

By Bustler Editors|

Thursday, May 29, 2008

The competition organizers thanked each of the design teams who participated in the First Round of L.A. Forum’s Liner Competition. As Juror Quinyun Ma commented, the ideas presented open the way to a wide-ranging, free-wheeling discussion about small urban spaces on the boulevard and in the city.

The first round jury met on Saturday, May 24th, to review the submissions. The results of the jury deliberations are as follows:

Shortlist:
* Oyler Wu Collaborative
* F-Lab
* Kuth Ranieri Architects

Honorable Mentions:
* assemblage+
* Pablo Maida Architect

The exhibition will remain open to the public through June. Dates and times when the gallery will be open, along with images and excerpts of the juror’s discussion, will be posted on the Los Angeles Forum for Architecture and Urban Design website.
