MINE THE GAP, the 2010 Chicago Prize Competition, has some winners. The competition’s goal was to find innovative solutions to fill the massive hole remaining from the cancellation of the Calatrava-designed Spire Tower along the shores of Lake Michigan

First Place: The Second Sun, by Alex Lehnerer, Team Leader, Meghan Funk, Lyndsay Pepple, Chicago, Illinois.
