CAC's Mine the Gap Competition Winners Announced

MINE THE GAP, the 2010 Chicago Prize Competition, has some winners. The competition’s goal was to find innovative solutions to fill the massive hole remaining from the cancellation of the Calatrava-designed Spire Tower along the shores of Lake Michigan

First Place: The Second Sun, by Alex Lehnerer, Team Leader, Meghan Funk, Lyndsay Pepple, Chicago, Illinois.

Second Place: Return to Paradise, by Giacomo Bongiorno, Team Leader, Thomas Bormann, Djamel Kara, Paris, France.

Third Place: Lot 400 , by Mohamad Hafez, Team Leader, Maegen M. McElderry, Hamden, Connecticut
