The London Festival of Architecture returns this year, bigger and better than ever, with the theme of memory, and events ranging from film screenings and talks, to workshops and guided walks. The festival kicks off this week, and is an eclectic mix of informal and child-friendly installations and formal events including some challenging debates and panel discussions. After last week's intense and colourful Clerkenwell Design Week, we hope you've rested up over the bank holiday to tackle this month of architectural celebration... Below, we've featured just a few of the great events and workshops that form the LFA this week, or that you should book onto for the coming weeks to avoid missing out. We will bring you more highlights over the next few weeks.

You can check out all of the best London Festival of Architecture events here, and click here to keep up to date with London's latest happenings and our weekly recommendations!

With all this going on, don't miss Imagine Moscow, Wolfgang Tillmans, and Circling the Square exhibitions, which all close this month.
