CALL FOR ENTRIES: 2015 SARA | NY Design Awards

The Society of American Registered Architects - New York Council recently launched a call for entries for the 2015 SARA | NY Design Awards.

Architects, designers, engineers, artists, students, and related fields are encouraged to send their best projects to the awards category of their choice. All built or unbuilt work is accepted. For students, practical, theoretical, or artistic works are welcome.

Just be sure to register by January 26 and submit your entries by February 23.

"All entries are accepted with the explicit free right for publication, reproduction, and use by SARA and its sponsors without need for further approval. SARA is not responsible for protection of submissions.

Each individual submitting a project for judging guarantees that they have the legal right to submit the project and that any permission associated with the entry has been obtained from the architect of record, designer and owner. SARA is not responsible for verification of entry submission rights. Award recipients will be notified following the judging in mid-March 2015.

All built and unbuilt works are accepted. For categories 1-8, entrant must be a Registered Architect. For categories 9-12, Architects, Designers, Artists, and Students are encouraged to enter. No entry may be submitted which has previously won a SARA | NY Award. Team projects will be treated as if presented by a single firm, and will be judged as an individual project."

Critical dates:

• January 26th, 2015 - Deadline for Declaration of Intent
• February 23rd, 2015 - Deadline for submitting entries
• March 2015 - Jury Announced
• April 2015 - Winners Announced
• June 2015 - SARA | NY Design Awards Gala
