Paris is a city full of life, lights, love, and sky high rents that are forcing many to relocate or reconsider living in the French capital. A limited supply of housing combined with consistent demand - especially for short-term lets to holiday makers that drives prices through the roof - has made Paris one of the least-affordable cities in the world.
Rather than deny anyone of the joys of living in a city like Paris, the Bee Breeders Global Housing Availability Challenge series is tasking design and architecture enthusiasts with envisioning a creative yet practical solution. The Paris Affordable Housing Challenge is open to all, inviting innovative ideas from around the world to conceive an adaptable, flexible housing solution that could be located in any location across the city.
The Paris Affordable Housing Challenge is open until October 15, and winners of the USD 6,000 prize will be announced on December 4.
Visit parischallenge.beebreeders.com for further information on the competition and how to enter.
