**Design the main poster and mascot character for World Ocean Forum 2021!**

Organized by Busan Metropolitan City and Korea Association Marine Industry, Oceans Design Competition is an innovation challenge presented to anyone who is passionate about oceans.

Anyone who is interested in oceans can join this design competition!

- Application Period : April-28-2021(Wed) ~ May-28-2021(Fri)  
  *Must be punctual at Korea standard time

- Finalist Announcement : June-7-2021(Mon) 15:00~

- **Poster** : Design the poster to be promoted for the 15th edition of World Ocean Forum, featuring an innovative start and WOF 2021 main theme.

**WOF 2021 Main Theme**

The Future of Everything : Ocean Transformation**

The main theme of this year's forum is "The Future of Everything: Ocean Transformation ". The ocean is currently entering the era of transformation. Since we are confronted with the uncertain future under the pandemic, it is inevitable to bring up agendas regarding ocean developments. We expect that the ocean is going to be the place for a big transformation, so we put the meaning of new aspects that the ocean industry will go through in our forum's main theme.

- **Mascot Character** : Design the mascot character which can represent World Ocean Forum, the most prestigious ocean forum held in South Korea every October..

Choose one between 2D design, Character in Motion and 2D design+ Character in Motion

**Submission Details**

 **Poster**

 ♦ Matters that Require Attention

 - A1(594mmX841mm)

 - Within 5 MB

 - JPG or JPEG file

 - Resolution : 300dpi / CMYK

 ♦ Must Include

 - Main Title Logo of World Ocean Forum

 - Official Emblem of World Ocean Forum

**Mascot Character Design**

♦ Design Requirements

  - A3 (297mm×420mm)

  - Within 5 MB

  - Resolution : 300dpi / CMYK

  - Submit your work amongst these three type

       1. 2D design →Transparent background (PNG file)

       2. Character in motion → No limitation in time frame (GIF file)

       3. 2D design + Character in motion → (PNG & GIF files both)

♦ Must Include

- Front and back sides of a character with example movements must be included

**Competition Rewards**

·  Grand Prize(1) : USD 1,350 with a certificate of award

·  Excellence Prize(1) : USD 900 with a certificate of award

·  Encouragement Prize(1) : USD 450 with a certificate of award

·  Nominated Works(Multiple Works) : A certificate of award with small gifts

**Awardee Benefits**

·  Used for the main poster of the 15th World Ocean Forum Official Poster (Grand Prize Winner)

·  Used for design sources of the 15th World Ocean Forum official promotional products and
 goods (Grand Prize Winner)

·  Displayed at the 15th World Ocean Forum venue (Excellence & Encouragement Prize Design
   Works and Nominated Ones)
