GDC 09

GDC is the first global comprehensive design competition in China. It is held every two years.

Its former is Graphic Design in China. It is founded by Shenzhen Graphic Design Association in 1992. In 2009, GDC has been extended and restructured with brand new attitude. Compared with the past, GDC 09 is more comprehensive, professional, authoritative and interesting. It must bring a big surprise to all designers who pay attention to GDC!

GDC 09 includes competitions, forums, lectures, award ceremony and series of exhibitions. The competition categories cover Graphic, Advertising, Interactive, Product, Environmental and Hybrid. It aims to become the most influential, the highest level, the most comprehensive and authoritative Design Biennale in Asia-Pacific Region.

GDC 09 tends to break down “Only Graphic” barriers, collects and appreciates more creative and innovative design to cultivate new power of design. GDC 09 aims to popularize design knowledge, improve design’s social status, strengthen designers’ sense of honor and allow more interactions between design and society.
