"Pyeongtaek-si plans to establish an administrative town that integrates the city hall and city council, aiming to create an efficient communication structure between administrative and legislative functions. The relocation to the Godeok International New City area will enhance accessibility and convenience, providing high-quality public services to local residents. The new administrative town aims to be a public building that is more accessible to the community while serving as a platform for diverse and evolving administrative functions. As a young city, Pyeongtaek hopes the new city hall will accommodate expanding administrative functions based on IT industries."

2024–25 Exhibit Columbus University Design Research Fellowship Competition
Register/Submit Deadline: Thursday, Sep 12, 2024
"This year, University Design Research Fellows will be awarded to full-time university/college professors in any area of design, architecture, art, and landscape architecture. UDRFellows will be shortlisted and selected by the 2024–25 Curatorial Partners based on the Request for Qualifications process. Upon application and acceptance, participants are required to participate in the 2024 Symposium, 2025 Design Presentations, and ultimately, in the 2025 Exhibition to design/build a public installation that showcases their research."

Warming Huts V.2025: An Arts & Architecture Competition on Ice

"Three teams will be selected as winners of the WARMING HUTS COMPETITION: Arts + Architecture Competition on Ice from submissions of designs for a warming hut or art installation. Winning entries will be placed along the Nestaweya River Trail located on the Assiniboine and Red rivers in Winnipeg, Manitoba. A jury will select the winning designs based on their creativity in use of materials, providing shelter, poetics of assembly and form, integration with the landscape, and ease of construction."
