"WAF invites entries of all types and forms — from conceptual to technical or construction drawings, cutaways or perspective views — and anything in between. Entries are welcomed from architects, designers and students from around the world in the following categories: Hand-drawn, Digital and Hybrid (combining the two). Submissions across the three categories will be evaluated based on their technical skill, originality of approach and ability to convey an architectural idea. Drawings can be entirely speculative or relate to real projects."

L+A+N+D: an experience of discovery
Registration/Submission Deadline: Monday, September 4, 2023

2024 AISC Awards

"The American Institute of Steel Construction is now accepting nominations for its award programs that honor remarkable people. Each year, AISC presents Lifetime and Special Achievement Awards to exceptional industry professionals, designers, and educators. The 2024 recipients will receive special recognition at NASCC: The Steel Conference in San Antonio, Texas, March 20 to 22, 2024."

Initiative 99
Registration/Submission Deadline: Friday, December 8, 2023

"Join Initiative 99, a global architecture competition aimed at designing accessible, beautiful and dignified 3D-printed homes that can be built for under $99,000. The multi-phase competition offers a total prize purse of $1 million (USD). A selection of winning designs will be built by ICON and showcased as a model for the future affordable housing."
