AR House awards 2025
Registration/Submission Deadline: Friday, June 20, 2025

"Launched in 2010, the AR House awards recognise originality and excellence in the design of dwellings. The house is a key rite of passage for architects, critical to the ferment and crystallisation of new ideas, offering the potential for innovation. The awards recognise projects built in the last five years that demonstrate creativity, originality and ideas that push the house forward – whatever the scale or construction cost. The judges’ chosen projects will all be visited by an independent critic and photographer before a decision is made on the winner."

"Art by Architects NYC was founded in 2018 to highlight the creative multimedia exploration of architects that is often hidden behind the daily efforts of creating the built environment as we know it. [...] Art by Architects has shown work from over 100 architects, professors and students of architecture, and interior designers from all over the New York metro area. It has brought together individuals from cross-disciplinary areas within the field of architecture and provided a place to celebrate each other’s creative processes outside of the office."

"This architectural competition seeks innovative and sustainable proposals for redesigning the Main Campus of State Tax University. The design must inspire future leaders, integrate seamlessly with the Irpin community, and establish the university as a scientific, educational, and cultural hub. With over 5,000 students relying on the university for education and community support, the rebuild will provide hope and resilience for the region."

Design and Build Student Competition- "Sacred Geometry: Platonic Solids"
Registration/Submission Deadline: Saturday, April 19, 2025

"This year’s theme is “Sacred Geometry: Platonic Solids.” Submissions should address the challenge of designing an architectural walk-in structure(s) or sculptural installation utilizing one or more of the five platonic solids found in sacred geometry (Dodecahedron, Icosahedron, Octahedron, Hexahedron, Tetrahedron) as the root structure of their design. The design should utilize architecture, landscape architecture, and/or sculpture/installation as a solution while considering environmental impact and sustainability in use of materials."
