AIA distinguishes winners of 2017 Young Architects Award + AIA Associates Award

The AIA distinguishes accomplished emerging architects in the annual Young Architects Award. Now in its 24th year, the awards competition is open to early-career professional architects who have been in practice no more than 10 years, regardless of the architect's age. Winners are honored for exceptional leadership and significant contributions to the profession early in their careers.

For 2017, the jury selected 14 winners from firms like OPN Architects, Brooks + Scarpa, Payette, Mancini Duffy, and more. The AIA also revealed four recipients of the Associates Award, which is given to individual Associate AIA members to “recognize outstanding leaders and creative thinkers for significant contributions to their communities and the profession”.
