Bahá'í Temple of South America by Hariri Pontarini Architects. Winner in 'Cultural Architecture' category.

The American Architecture Prize, now in its second year, has released the winners of their 2017 awards. The LA-based awards celebrate creativity and innovation in the fields of architectural design, landscape architecture, and interior design with the goal of advancing the appreciation of architecture worldwide. While established only last year, by showcasing practical, purposeful work to a global audience, the AAP is set to become  one of the most respected honors in the industry.

Projects are assessed according to criteria such as design excellence, innovation and function in the fields of architecture, landscape and interior design. Winners are then announced across 42 categories. In the overarching division of "Architectural Design," categories range from  "Agricultural Buildings" to "Social Housing" and so on. In the class of "Interior Design," categories range from "Workplaces" to "Exhibition" design and within "Landscape Architecture,"  work recognized ranges from "Educational" to "Urban Design."
